Windows 7 desktop gadgets stopped working

I have a Dell Studio 15 laptop running in Windows 7. I recently installed iTunes 10.1 version. After the installation I noticed that the desktop gadgets in Windows 7 stopped working. I get a notification saying Ďa service has stopped working and standard users cannot activate it...í Instead of the gadget icons, there are only white rectangular boxes. I canít do a Restore as there are no restore points. How can I fix this problem?

hi dear friend........... this is the error about the administrator account

there are two type of accounts ..one is admin account, standard account

the administrator account has full rights to access all the data from computer

in case of standard type account......there are some restrictions to use the applications settings

So, to solve this error .........simply logoff the standard account and switch with admin account ...now try again

and already if you logged with admin ......account ......but still the problem persists ...follow these

click the start menu and type command prompt in the search box

now right click on command prompt from the start menu and choose RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR and click YES

    now type this command

net user administrator /active:yes then press ENTER key

The problem which you are having is possibly happening due to the installation of the iTune software.

It has created the jamble within the system and disabled the gadgets.

Uninstall iTunes first from the windows installation and observe he situation, if things are getting to normal download a fresh iTunes from internet trusted site and install afresh.

Else, use either of tge two options, system recovery, or repair install.

System Recovery will happen once you go to Start--all programs--accessories--system tools--system recovery,
click it and choose a previous time for windows to boot when there was no problem.

Or insert windows installer into optical drive and boot, then click install now, then repair install, and follow instruction to repair the damage and work normally under perfect windows.

    Try whichever is applicable.
