Windows 7 shows the notification “Low Disk Space on D: (HD_RECOVERY)”

For the past few weeks, I keep getting the notification “Low Disk Space on D: (HD_RECOVERY)” on my PC upgraded to Windows 7. I have no idea about the exact reason for this notification. Is there any way available to get rid of this notification?

Click the ‘Start’ button first and navigate into ‘Control Panel->System’ from the start menu. The next step required is to click the ‘System Protection’ option. Locate the ‘Protection Settings’ afterwards and make a single click on ‘D’. After that, you need to make certain that the protection already turned off. Click the ‘Configure’ button for that and locate the ‘Turn off System Protection’ label. If it is not selected, click the checkbox next to it until the tick mark appears on it. After that, press the ‘Apply’ button and restart the PC to save the changes made.
