Windows 8 displaying error message while trying to download apps from App Store

I have already logged into Windows Live from my PC upgraded to Windows 8. Even so, I keep getting the error message “Your purchase couldn’t be completed. Something has happened and your purchase could not be completed” while making an attempt to download apps from App Store. How can I fix it?

You can fix this issue by clearing the Store Cache. Press the Windows key + R for that and type WSReset.exe into ‘Open’ field before pressing the ‘Enter’ key. Another solution available to resolve this problem is to sync app licenses on your system. Get into the Charms Bar for that by pressing the Windows key + C on the keyboard. Then, click the ‘Settings’ option available in that bar. The next step required is to click on ‘App Updates’ available in settings options. Then, you can select ‘Sync licenses’ option pops up on the screen.
