    Hi,

Though you have provided as little as possible information while mentioning the problem, still heres some explanation.

When you have installed Windows 8, was it a DVD purchased from the retailer or download from the internet halped you to install?

In any case First "Clean" the optical drive before inserting the DVD then try again.

Check the integrity of the DVD which bears the software and try to mark any spot on certain area on the DVD.

Clean the DVD with a clean soft cloth, dont round clean move up to down or use streight movement to clean the disk.

Try then to use the disk. If failed either contact the vendor, or download another copy from the Microsoft Site.

    Thanks.

    Hello

This kind of problem might be caused by Windows 8 OS setup itself or your notebook does not support Windows 8 OS. To resolve that i suggest you few things..

----->Try to install Windows 8 into your notebook through different windows 8 OS. To do this you just need to get another setup of Windows 8 and install that into your notebook. If your problem caused due to bad/corrupt OS setup than this step will help you.

----->Check your notebook configuration because lower system configuration does not support by Windows 8 OS. You need to have 1 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, 20 GB or more hard disk space in your notebook.

---->Call the notebook provider to resolve that problem.

Thank you try this i hope this will help you...............

    Hello !!

your process is getting terminated at 60% due to the following reason:-

1.your setup is not properly downloaded.
    2. there might be bugs in the software.
    3. either your setup is damaged or corupted.
    4. please do check your hard drive using >> memory diagnostic test

if you will perform all the opertaion than your OS must be installed sucessfully.
