Windows Defender Offline boots and Stalls

I have installed Windows Defender 64 bit. Every time I start the computer, the Defender starts to boot and hangs on the screen. The problem persists even after restarts. How to solve this issue?

Re: Windows Defender Offline boots and Stalls

    Dear friend,

    To solve your problem:

    1. Boot your PC into safe mode.

    2. Go to the window defender antivirus.

    3. In Windows defender antivirus window, go to "Tools" at the top menu bar below title bar.

    4. Select "Options> Administrator.

    5. Un-check the box before "Use this program".

    6. Click on "Save", and close the window.

    7. Your antivirus is now disabled, and you can work as normal.

You can also opt for a another better antivirus than Window Defender, such as Avast (personally using from three years), Quick Heal total Security, etc.

    Thanks!
