HELLO DEAR,If you are trying to empty the recycle bin and delete the unwanted data and your computer freezes then dear the possible reason may be that your computer must be affected by some kind of spyware or virus so that it prevents your computer system to remove then junk data from your hard disk. so dear to get rid of this serious problem you must have to scan your computer with a good anti virus so that it can detect virus from your computer and after removing it your computer may work properly or easily empty the recycle bin.GOOD LUCK,

    Dear friend,

Windows desktop freezes when you try to empty recycle bin due to the following reasons:

    1. You have not emptied the recycle bin for a long time. When you delete these files after long time then
as usual takes much time during which your computer doesn’t response. If this is the problem then you need
    not to worry about this.

    2. Your PC is infected with viruses. When you delete a virus file from hard disk these files may goes to the recycle
bin folder. That virus can prevent the Windows to delete them. To solve this problem you should scan your all
partition of hard disk with updated anti-virus software.

    Thanks!
