Re: Windows Explorer jumplist keep disappearing in windows 7
First of all, Try using System Restore method for restoring your computer to an early restore point. Once done, use "sfc /scannow" method. Click on "Start" button. Type "cmd" in the search box. When you see "Command Prompt" option, right click on it and choose "Run as Administrator". You will see a blackish command prompt window. Type "sfc /scannow" in that window and press the Enter button again. It should fix your issue. However, If you are still facing any kind of issue, try to access the Jump List again. The steps for doing the same is given below:
- Insert your Windows 7 Bootable DVD and Restart your computer.
- It will ask You, Whether you want to boot from your DVD or not. Just go for it.
- Select your language and click on "Next".
- Then click on "Repair your Computer".
- It will show you the list of Options(OS). Choose the one, You want to repair and complete the procedure.
