Windows explorer now not able to display the sidebar

Normally, windows explorer shows you a side bar on the left which contains the list of path or locations. Its right window shows the content of file or current path but In my windows 7, windows explorer doesn't display any sidebar which is making it very difficult to work with files. Is it possible to bring the sidebar back? If yes the how?

Don't worry. There is nothing wrong with your hardware or windows 7. You are not able to view the sidebar because, you have hidden the "Navigation Pane". Simply unhide to bring your sidebar back again. To do the same, Open the explorer and click on Organize>> Layout>> Navigation Pane and your are done. This is a top solution which has worked for a number of users so give it a try. If the problem still persists then don't hesitate to ask here again. We will feel happy to help you.

To fix this problem, follow these steps:
    1. Click Start, and then click All Programs.
    2. Click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and select Run as administrator.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    3. At the command prompt, type the following commands. Press ENTER after each command.Regsvr32 atl.dll
      Regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sbdrop.dll
      Regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\wlsrvc.dll
      exit
    4. Restart the computer.
