The best solution for these kind of errors is "Resetting the Media Player Library". To do the same, first of all restart your computer and open run command(Windows key +R). Type "services.msc" in the text box and hit enter button on your keyboard. You would be able to see the list of services used by your windows 7 OS.Try to find "Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service". If it is in started state then double click on the service and choose the "Stop" option to stop it.Once done, click on start button, type " %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft" in the search box and hit the enter button. It will open in Windows Explorer. Now find the "Media Player" folder and delete it. If you are not able to find this folder then it means that it is hidden so unhide it through Control panel>>Folder Options>>View>>Show hidden files and folders.Once done with all the above written steps, start Windows Media Player again and enjoy.
