Windows Media Player library not able to display the list of songs in windows 7

I am using a two month old windows 7 laptop. It was working fine and i have transferred around 8,000 songs in my music folder. I am 100% sure that the transfer process completed without any issue because it never displayed any error message but now None of these music files appears in my windows media player library. What's the issue and how to fix the same?

This kind of issue arise when some process corrupts the Windows Media Player library database. To resolve this issue, you will have to clear the windows media player database. For doing the same, first of all close the opened windows media player. After that press "windows key+R" to open the Run command. After that type "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player" and press enter button on your keyboard. Now select all files and click on "Delete" option on the File Menu. Restart your windows media player and check whether it solved your issue or not. If you are still facing the same issue then clear Windows Media Player database cache files. For doing the same, close windows media player first and then open run command by pressing windows key+R button on your keyboard. Once done, type "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft" in the text box and hit enter button. Now select the media player folder and click on delete option. After the completion of this process, restart your Windows Media Player.
