Windows Media Player loading media files from unwanted folders

For the past few weeks, the Windows Media Player in my system running on Windows 7 is loading media files from folders other than ‘My Music’ folder and is retrieving information for these files. I am not able to prevent this by deleting Media Player Folder after halting Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service. What else should I do to stop this process?

Press the ‘Start’ button on the bottom part of the desktop and click the ‘Search’ option available. Enter Turn Windows Features On or Off into the search box. Then, make a single press on the ‘Enter’ key on the keyboard. Click the plus sign next to ‘Media Features’ visible in the available list to expand it. Locate the ‘Windows Media Player’ option and clear the check box next to it. Restart the PC and repeat all the steps mentioned earlier till finding out the ‘Windows Media Player’ option. Then, you need to click the checkbox visible near this option.
