    Hello Friend,

Well, there are many files that are not supported by the Windows Media Player so you are having this message "The media type of this file is not recognized". You should install other media players which will be able to play all types of files for Windows XP. You should download any one of the following media players from the internet for your Windows XP based PC,

    1. VLC Player.
    2. GOM Player.
    3. KM Player.

The above mentioned player are vey good for playing an types of video files. Media Player is a default player for Windows so you have to expand your option and use other players as well. I hope this information will be useful to you.

    Bye,

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say...........................

1.Do not worry this is normal problem.

2.If the Media Player Tool is included with Windows Media Player then MP 3 files will be not played.

3.So you try to remove the Media Player tool and then play that video.

4.It will play for sure without any problem.

5.If still it do not play then it i that file problem but not your Player problem.

I hope by doing as i said you can solve your problem.

    Have a nice day....................................
