Windows Media Player is not Present in my windows Vista Computer

I have installed windows vista which works very fine as well but I am not able to find Windows Media Player in it. However I am 100% sure that Windows Media Player is present in my windows. I am also not able to update it because nothing happens. Is there any special way to run Windows Media Player in windows vista?

No there is no any special way to run Windows Media Player but if you are facing any issue in running it then click on start button>> Computer>> C drive>> Program Files>>Windows Media Player>>wmplayer.exe. Now pin it to your desktop or start Menu for fast access to Windows Media Player.

    Hi.
To start Windows Media Player, click the Start button, click All Programs, and then click Windows Media Player.

    >>To check for updates manually

    Click the
Help menu, and then click Check for Updates.

If the Help menu is not visible, show the Classic Menus.

    To show the Classic Menus

    Do one of the following:
    >>Right-click an empty area of the taskbar (such as the area to the left of the Now Playing tab) or an empty area to the left or right of the playback controls, and then click Show Classic Menus.
    >>Press CTRL+M.

    >>To set how often the Player automatically checks for updates

    >>Click the arrow below the Now Playing tab, and then click More Options.
    >>On the Player tab, under Check for updates, click the interval option that you want.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Windows Media player can be restored from windows but only if it was copied by the windows installer during Windows Installation.

    click start > Computer > C drive> Program Files > Windows Media Player > wmplayer.exe.
Pin it to the desktop or start Menu for quick access to "Windows Media Player".

If the procedure fails you can download WMP from Microsoft Website and install in the Windows to get latest WMP with fatures.

    Thanks.
