Windows Media Player not recognizing the length of the file being burned into CD

Every time I try to burn a file into CD through Windows Media Player, it can’t detect the length of that file. The app always gives me the option to skip the file. I need to place that file into the CD. How can I make it recognize the file length?

You need to run the in-built troubleshooter to resolve this issue. Press the ‘Start’ button for that and find out the start search box. Type troubleshooting into that box and hit the ‘Enter’ key on the keyboard. A list of options will then appear on the screen. Scroll through that list and click the ‘Hardware and Sound’ option. After that, you need to select ‘Play and burning CD’s, DVD’s, and Blu-ray disks’ option. This will bring up a set up wizard on the screen. Follow the instructions on the wizard until you press the ‘Finish’ button.
