Windows Media Player taking too much time to open video files in Windows 8

Few days back I upgraded my Toshiba Ultrabook to Windows 8. The Windows Media Player in the system can play music files without any problem. But, I can feel too much delay in opening video files with Media Player. For a 1080p MP4 file it takes over ˝ hour. How can I avoid this delay?

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say.............

1.Firstly check the version of your media player you might be using the old version.

2.So you are facing this problem so you try to uninstall that software.

3.Then you go to the website 'http://www.softpedia.com/reviews/win...w-303765.shtml'.

4.From there you download the Windows media player 12 which is specially for Windows 8.

5.After downloading install that software in your computer.

That's it by doing as i said you can solve your problem.

To solve the extreme slow execution issue, take the following steps.

    1. upgrade your media player to the latest version.
    2. clear temporary files from Temp Folder, in Command Prompt, type %temp%. press enter, delete all temp files.
    3. scan the drive for any virus that may have present in the system.
    4. install latest CODECs downloading from the net.

    These should solve tge issue.
