Clear off the Windows Media Player database and rebuild it. First of all, quit the Windows Media Player and select ‘Run’ option from the start menu after clicking ‘Start’ button. Then, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player into ‘Open’ field inside ‘Run’ dialog box and press the ‘OK’ button. Choose all files inside the folder that appears on the screen and then make a single click on ‘Delete’ option in file menu. Restart the Windows Media Player for rebuilding the database. If the issue still persists, delete the database cache files of Windows Media Player and restart the program. In this method, you need to type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft into the ‘Open’ field and delete the files inside the ‘Microsoft’ folder. All other steps are similar to that of the previous method.
