Windows Mobile not accepting the Correct Screen Lock Password

I am using HTC HD 2 mobile which has Windows 6.5. Although it works fine normally but now it is creating a very big headache for me. Actually I locked it with password and now when I insert the password, it doesn’t respond. I have already too much but for no results. I don’t want to make a Hard Reset and Soft Reset is not working. What should I do at this point of time.

    Hello,

The password i believe in your case is the touch pattern password.
Try using that pattern if it is not helping than you will have reset the password.
You have no other option but to reset it.

    Regards

My friend if you are using a number touch keypad password then u you may have entered a wrong password
or if u have used a pattern then the software default u must have to try and then make a soft reset it
    steps for soft reset:
    1. remove your mobile battery
    2. reset button is located at left below to the sim card slot
    3. press the button with tooth pick
then your phone will be soft reset
    THANK YOU

    dear friend,

Check that whether your phone is consisting with a external button i.e hardware button or not.

Hardware button is a special kind of button, which controls the softkeys.

It seems like when you are pressing the OK option after entering the password, the OS can't recognizing your touch.

So you have to press the hard reset button after entering the password.

If it doesn't work then you have to go for soft reset.

Check for a minor button in your phone.

Switch off your phone & remove the battery-then press the switch with a niddle.

Now insert the battery & switch ON it.

If you see that this action also doesn't work then there is no option left.

You have to go for the Hard Reset.
