Windows not recognizing the SATA HDD connected to the eSATA port of Windows 7 System.

I am trying to connect an internal SATA HDD to the eSATA port of my CPU, I have connected this HDD and turned on the machine but nothing is shown on my machine in fact it is not at all recognized by the machine. So suggest me what should be done in order to use the SATA HDD on a Windows 7.

You must be having a companion disk along with the HDD ,

Insert it into optical drive and click Setup/install from it.

The sofyware, basically the driver file, will be inflated and installed in windows without which windows fail to recognize the HDD.

remove the disk after complete installation.

If after this the problem persists, check the HDD , the connecting cable and the connecting port thoroughly,

it may be due to the missing or driver file

so insert the drive disk available along with it

then click on setup and install it using recommended settings

    after this eject the disk

if the problem still remains check the connection cables, ports, or hdd carefully

otherwise visit the service center or replace the hard disk

    hi, friend .

    >> This is done by two type of problems

    1. In your harddisk problem.

    2. your motherboard sata port problem.

    >> to solve this you have to do this things:

    >> first try to check your HDD with other system, if it will work fine then.

    >> just check your SATA cable and that connect your HDD with mother board.

    >> if cable is also fine then it is sure there is problem in your mother board SATA port.

    >> you have to service it.

    >> this 3 things only solve your problem.

    >> i hope you will solve it soon .

    >> all the very best
