This problem its quite frequent when we you don’t know the reason for it too happen, the reason of this problem is the device containing your Operating System is not being detected at boot time. Just check the below issues first when booting your OS,

-> Check if you have plugged in any USB drive in your PC. If so remove it from the PC and then boot. The reason behind is as the boot order as USB as the 1st to check for OS and if you have plugged in some USB drive then during boot time your PC will check the USB drive to load the operating system and it will say Operating System not found as there is no files present in the USB.
-> Also check if you have loaded some CD/DVD in your CD drive if so remove it and boot the PC again.
-> Now open the BIOS from the boot by pressing “F8” key repeatedly. Once you reach the BIOS setting check if your hard disk drive is detected from the boot priority option. If it is not then probably there is a problem in the Hard disk and motherboard connection. If you are used to open your system hardware like opening it and connecting hard disk or so. Then just remove the BUS connection (White stripped cable) from your hard disk and the power cord (Black one) and connect it back again

If still you are not able to see the hard disk again then probably your hard disk need a replacement. You can call the technical person who assembled your PC or the shop from where you buy to check it once and replace the hard disk if you have warranty still.

hi.....and coming to your problem....the device is not detecting the boot .....for this you need to boot another way and try this

    1. press F8 when the pc starts up
    2. then it will shows the boot login menu with the two options 1) hard disc i mean it shows like "SATA like drive name" 2) DVD/CD drive
    3. so if u want to install os again select DVD/CD drive option (when the disc inserted on the multidriver)
    4. OR to open the already installed OS select hard drive option

    THANK YOU

    Hi,
The problem you are facing is possibly a software related one.
First check if any of your drives CD/DVD, USB are plugged and do they have media in the drive, if yes remove that media from the drive, and seee if it boots.
If not, you possibly lost a few files required for BOOTING ,namely IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS and COMMAND.COM which are sole responsible being the carrier of all necessary codes ,instructions, and links to boot which is the most vital step for preparing the computer to interact with you.
When the pre boot stage checkups are not finding those files it assumes that the OS is missing as there will be no booting.
Supplying those files will let your system work fine.
    Thank you.

    Dear friend,

It seems that the motherboard Boot record is corrupted. This record tells your BIOS about the operating system
and the partition on which it is installed. It is a type of DOS which is a connecting link between the BIOS and the operating system.

To solve your problem, you have to repair your system.

You can do this in the following way:
    >Put the Windows 7 installation disk in the DVD-ROM drive.
    >Restart your machine. Press Enter key from the keyboard when you are asked to boot from DVD ROM drive.
    >After configuring language and location, click on the Repair your computer option.

    >In the "System Recovery Options" window, click on "Next".
    >Wait until the automatic repair process is completed.

    Thanks!
