Windows Security Center indicates no virus protection even though the anti-virus program is already updated and activated on Windows XP

The anti-virus program on my PC running on Windows XP is up-to-date and active. It says there are no threats on my system while scanning. Even so, the Windows Security Center says there is no virus protection. Is there any solution available for this problem?

First of all, stop the Windows Management Instrumentation service temporarily. Press the ‘Start’ button for that and click the ‘Run’ option available in the start menu. Type services.msc into ‘Open’ field and press the ‘OK’ button. Navigate through the list of services and find out WMI service. Right click on it and select the ‘Stop’ option. The next step required is to delete the repository folder found in C:\windows\system32\wbem\. Restart the WMI service by selecting ‘Start’ option from the right click menu and reboot the PC to check for the issue.

    Hello Guest,
I suggest that you turn off all the windows updates manually. If your windows is not genuine, it can lead to the "Windows is not Genuine" targetted issue
    .

Warning: NEVER click on Activate Windows, found under System Properties, especially when you are online, since it will redirect you to the Official Microsoft Site, and detect the expired databases of your OS, leading to the "Windows is not genuine" message.
    Good luck!
Wishing you a merry x-mas and a Happy new year in advance. Regards!!!!!! :-)
