    Windows sidebar not showing on screen after uninstalling Antivirus on Windows Vista

    Hi, I was having Mcafee antivirus on windows vista but after uninstalling it having issue, Windows sidebar has been disappeared and not working. I am unable to see not weather not clock nothing. What to do, How to get back them all. Any suggestions!!

    Not to worry, You need to follow the Step wise procedure to fix the issue of Windows Sidebar on Vista OS:

    Step 1: First of all, click on start button then navigate to All programs
    Step 2: Now, click on Accessories and open command prompt (run as admin)
    Step 3: Type the password on appropriate place(if required)
    Step 4: Now, Type the following command on command windows
    * Press Enter after typing each command
    Regsvr32 atl.dll
    Regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sbdrop.dll
    Regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\wlsrvc.dll
    Step 5: Exit from command prompt
    Step 6: Restart your system and check the issue

    Dear friend,

    This problem may be because of uninstallation of your antivirus.
    Might be some file have been disturbed or corrupted by the uninstallation of the antivirus.
    So just press START button and type cmd.
    Now right click on it and "run as a administrator".
    Now type the commands.
    Regsvr32 atl.dll
    press enter and type
    Regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sbdrop.dll
    press enter and type
    Regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\wlsrvc.dll
    Now restart your syatem to check if the issue is solved.
