Windows update is not responding in Windows Vista

I have installed Windows Vista on my PC. I have some problem when I tried Windows Vista updates. It runs and installs them but once is has restarted it says it could not install and reverting update changes. The updates include KB2655992, KB2691442, KB2712808, KB2722913. I have tried installing them all at the same time, one by one and manually from the Microsoft website. I also tried installing them all at the same time, one by one and manually from the Microsoft website. Please solve this solution.

Re: Windows update is not responding in Windows Vista

Try out these two steps below:
1.Download and run the Windows Update Fix-it tool
2.Else Download and run the System Update Readiness Tool from Microsoft
Otherwise doing a repair installation is a good idea. There is a possibility that some programs will not work after performing a repair installation but it's pretty rare.
