Windows Vista Driver for connecting to Motorola cable modem

My Toshiba Laptop is running in Windows Vista Home Premium. When I tried to establish a wireless connection to Motorola router it did not work. Is there any driver that would allow connecting to the modem/router?

Re: Windows Vista Driver for connecting to Motorola cable modem

    Hi,

You can search your Modem Driver in "Toshiba Web Site" , or "Motorola Web Site" , and also "Microsoft Web Site" .

Log into any of the web site and search for the Driver providing them the model number of your modem, except the Microsoft Site where you need to install Windows specific and make or model insensitive.

Download the driver and install to achieve your goal.

Another way is to click START in the search box write "Device Manager" and it will show you devices installed, Click on MODEM and again click on installed modem, you will be offered a variety of choices out of which select UNINSTALL first , then select UPDATE DRIVER and a fresh driver will be downloaded and installed to your system.

    Thanks.
