Windows Vista PC get stuck on “windowsmodularinstallerfailureWcpother3” message

My PC running on Windows Vista Home Premium gets frozen on “windowsmodularinstallerfailureWcpother3” for the past two days. I tried sfc scan and Microsoft fix it on the system. The issue still remains on the system. What should I do to resolve this issue?

Make sure that Windows Module Installer on your system is set to ‘Automatic’. Click the ‘Start’ button for that and wait until the search box appears on the bottom part of the start menu. Type msconfig into that search box and hit the ‘Enter’ key. This will show up User Account Control prompt on the screen. Click the ‘Continue’ button at that time and press the ‘Services’ tab. Locate the ‘Windows Module Installer’ option afterwards and select the check box next to it. The next step required is to type services.msc into the search box and press the ‘Enter’ key. Right click on ‘Windows Module Installer’ option afterwards and select ‘Properties’ from the available menu. Choose ‘Automatic’ option for ‘Startup type’ and set ‘Start’ for service status. Press on both ‘Apply’ and ‘OK’ buttons before the restarting the system.
