    Windows vista taskbar is missing after switching on my system

    Hi, after switching ON my windows vista system running on DELL desktop system, i saw that my taskbar is missing from its position. Searched several setting to get taskbar back. All though i locked it, still why my taskbar missed from its place. i can do anything without taskbar all the icons are pinned on it. Any help??

    1)From the description it is clear that, your windows vista system is missing taskbar from it position. Isn’t it?
    2)Ok, here are the steps you need to follow to get it back
    3)Try pressing ctrl + esc keys both together at the same time
    4)Now right click the taskbar, Uncheck the checkbox where it says “ Lock the taskbar”.
    5)While moving the mouse, where you can then see faint ouline, drag it to the upwards to where you are desired.
    6)Finally Relock it by checking the check box where it say “ Lock the taskbar”
    That’s it over.

    To get the missing taskbar follow these steps

    • Open the start menu by clicking on the start button
    • Then right click on the menu and select the properties
    • Now choose the Taskbar tab
    • Now uncheck the check box next to Lock the taskbar
    • Then adjust the taskbar and then lock the taskbar

    Hello friend,


    I have the solution for your problem just do as i say...............................

    1.Firstly go to the desktop.

    2.Then you press the keys 'Alt+Ctrl+Del'.

    3.Now the task manager will open.

    4.Then you press on the tab 'Processes'.

    5.And then click on the option 'File' and then click on 'New Task(Run..)'.

    6.The you type 'explorer.exe' and then click 'Enter' and your problem will be solved.

    Hi..

    For this Go to control panel from the start menu..

    Go to Appearance and personalization..

    Now click on customize the start menu ..

    Here choose task bar tab

    Put check mark on lock the task bar option..

    click apply and ok..

    That's it..

    Press ctrl + esc buttons

    Right click on taskbar, Uncheck the checkbox Lock the taskbar.

    When moving your mouse to cornrs you will se faint outline. Drag it to the bottom.

    Now again check the box Lock the taskbar

    Hi, Dear friend

    To resolve the above issue.......follow the below instructions

    First of all go to START MENU and then click on CONTROL PANEL

    After that choose APPEARANCE AND PERSONALIZATION option from the list

    Then click on PERSONALIZE option

    And from the left pane ... click on TASK BAR AND START MENU option

    And now tap on TASK BAR option

    Now drop down the TASK BAR LOCATION and select it as the BOTTOM

    Then un-check the AUTO HIDE TASK BAR ... and finally click the OK button

    After that it will be solved ...................... ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ********Right click on Task bar and than click on Start Task Manager.

    ********After clicking you will get the Task Manager window.

    ********Under the Applications tab you will see the currently running app.

    ********Select app that you want to pin in task bar, and right click on it.

    ********Now click on Go to process.

    ********After clicking you will take on to process tab.

    ********Now click on End process button.
