    Windows Vista Ultimate Firewall settings

    I am using Windows Vista for past three months. I would like to turn on the Ultimate Firewall settings. Please provide me the necessary steps.

    hi dear friend.............to run the fire wall settings follow the given steps


    first click the start menu and open the control panel

    after that click on the system and security option

    and next click on the windows firewall option from the window

    or

    Directly press windows key+r combination from the keyboard

    then type firewall.cpl in the run box and press ENTER key

    and now click on the TURN WINDOWS FIRE WALL ON OR OFF from the left pane of the window

    then select the option TURN ON WINDOWS FIRE WALL option

    and click OK ......

    Hello friend...

    It is easy to turn on the Firewall in the computer...

    Follow these steps to turn on the firewall

    * Click the start button then type the Control Panel in the search box.

    * Open the Control panel then click the Security Center then click the Windows Firewall.

    * Open the Windows Firewall windows then click the turn on button...

    finally you successful to turn on the firewall...

    Hi,

    You can set up Windows Firewall easily following the process as mentioned.

    Click "Start" > "Control Panel" > "System and Security" > "Windows Firewall" > "Turn Firewall On/Off"

    These way you can set Windows Firewall in your system.

    Click on Network Icon..

    Select Network and Sharing center..

    Now click on Windows Firewall..

    Then set Firewalls off or on..

    I will help you to solve your problem,don't worry just follow as i say.

    1.Firstly tap and open the 'Start' menu.

    2.Now tap on the option of 'Control panel'.

    3.Now tap and open the option of 'System And Security' settings option.

    4.Now tap on the option of 'Turn Firewall On/Off'.

    5.Now a popup will get opened with some options in it.

    6.now tap on the option of 'Turn On Windows Firewall' option.

    That's it your problem is solved.

    I will tell you that how to Windows Vista Ultimate Firewall settings....

    SO first of all go and turn on your computer and then just go to the home screen on a desktop and then just go to the Control Panel in the search box...After that just open the Control panel then click the Security Center then click the Windows Firewall...Now at the end just open the Windows Firewall windows then click the turn on button...

    You are successfully done your issue ......

    • In the left pane, click Turn Windows Firewall on or off. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    • Click Turn on Windows Firewall under each network location that you want to help protect, and then click OK.
      If you want the firewall to prevent all programs from communicating, including programs that you have previously allowed to communicate through the firewall, select the Block all incoming connections, including those in the list of allowed programs check box.

    Hi friend,

    The following is the procedure for solving the problem of Windows Vista Ultimate Firewall settings.

    At first you have to go to startup menu.

    Then tap on to the control panel option.

    Now the system and security option is to be pressed.

    There you need to press the Windows Firewall option.

    After that the option of 'Turn Firewall on/off' is to be tapped.

    Then the screen shows you the several options.

    Now press the 'Turn on Windows Fire wall' option is to be selected.

    Choose the Control Panel from the Start up menu

    Then go to the Security option

    Then Choose the Security centre

    Then click the Windows firewall link

    Then choose the Change settings

    Then click on the Exceptions tab


    Then click the Add program button

    And choose the Program

    Then click on OK

    You should follow the below steps so that you will find the solution of your query .

    => Go to control panel

    => Select Windows Firewall option in that

    => There will be one option like " Turn Windows Firewall On or Off " . click on that

    => Select the radio button of Turn on windows firewall .

    => Then press Ok button .

    After doing above steps your problem will be solved .

    Hi friend,

    Here are the steps that you need to follow in order set your windows firewall settings:-

    1. In both vista and windows 7, you can access windows firewall settings by clicking Start and opening the Control Panel.

    2. Click System and Security in windows 7 or security in vista, and then click on Windows Firewall.

    You can configure two types of networks.

    a. private (home and workplace networks).

    b. Public ( airport, library, or other networks open to public.)

    You will see status and settings reports displayed for both types of networks here.

    Begin by clicking Change Notifications Settings in the left pane so that you can turn windows firewall on or off for each network type.

    To change how the firewall alerts you when it blocks a program, check or uncheck Notify me when Windows Firewall blocks a new program.

    Finally, you can stay really safe by checking Block All Incoming Connections, including those in the list of allowed programs.
