Windows xp Professional SP2 accepting all kinds of activation key, even blank spaces

I have recently created a windows xp professional sp2 bootable CD. For doing the same,i referred to "Tak a crack" of digit. Now i am facing a strange issue. Now the setup accepts any kind of product key, even blank spaces and semi colons. Setup process even when i keep the product id field empty and click next.Once it passes the "Get updated files" screen, flashes an error which says that the wizard cannot continue. What's wrong with and how can i fix it?

Re: Windows xp Professional SP2 accepting all kinds of activation key, even blank spaces

Generally this kind of issue doesn’t occur. That’s probably the reason why very few users has reported this kind of issue. In your case,It looks like either the windows xp setup files you used or the CD that you created is corrupt. This could happen if the version of windows xp you're using is pirated. We suggest you to use the windows xp setup files from the legal copy of windows xp that you purchased. Also try burning the cd at a lower speed such as 16X. It will fix your issue. However if it fails to fix your issue then post your question with much more details like the exact error message or something like that.We will feel happy to help you.
