Windows XP shows out-of-focus images after moving pictures back to ‘C’ drive

As there were lots of photos in my PC running on Windows XP, I transferred all of them from C drive into a separate hard drive. But, when I copy and pasted some pictures back to ‘C’ drive, I keep getting out-of-focus images along with a dialog box saying “searching for missing file”. How can I resolve this issue?

Re: Windows XP shows out-of-focus images after moving pictures back to ‘C’ drive

    Hello !!

it seems that you have not copy-pasted the actual pictures.
it seems that you have pasted the shortcut of the pictures from your external hard disk to your C:\\ drive.
because when you opened that particular pictures it showed you a message ,"searching for pictures."
so it is clear from this error message that your pictures were the shortcut that were pasted.

so go once again to your external hard disk. and copy them properly and again do paste them carefully.
this time it must get opened without any error message.

hop i am clear to you.
    thanks for posting.
