    Dear Friend,

    Antivirus Needs to update always.

if you are not updating your antivirus not work.

    so please install working antivirus.

install AVG antivirus it will be working.

if you are not able to uninstall delete the it from Program files.

And after that uninstall from this.

And After restart your PC and install AVG antivirus it will be working.

Re: Windows XP system hangs after installing 'Quick heal' antivirus

    Hi,

Did you uninstall the previous Avast antivirus prior to install the new Quickheal antiviru.

If not then that is possibly the reason for the erratic behavior of Windows XP.

Things are even more complicated when you are unable to uninstall Quickheal, which is the action to be taken immidietly.

You can take help of the link below to solve the problem, as the third party uninstaller is a powerfull tool to remove most of the difficult situation related to uninstall.

    Thanks.

    Hiiiiiii
You should not install or use two antivirus simultaneously i.e,avast and quick heal because antivirus programs due to this programs there will so much usage of CPU performance and also on ram usage,
so that you need to uninstall avast............or quick heal
and i have also encountered with this problem,i have installed kaspersky and without uninstalling it i have installed quick heal,
and it took nearly 40 min to restart and uninstall kaspersky and after uninstalling it, it worked perfect.......
so you need to uninstall any one program to solve this problem.............
    Thank You

Re: Windows XP system hangs after installing 'Quick heal' antivirus

    Hi dear friend.....

First of all remove the previous avast antivirus.... before going to install Quick Heal antivirus

And if you are unable to uninstall it ...first simply remove the Registry entries.....then remove the installer ....that is by following the below instructions

press windows key+R and type regedit and press ENTER Key and click YES

    now expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software

under the software folder....remove the AVAST Software folder

after that go to control panel> Add remove Programs > then right click on AVAST and choose Uninstall and follow the onscreen instructions

and also do it For the Same for Quick Heal .... after the completion of ...un-installation of both.... ....

restart the PC .....and now Install the Quick Heal.... then the issues about the antivirus will be solved

    ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!!

Re: Windows XP system hangs after installing 'Quick heal' antivirus

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say....................

1.This will happen when you install the two different antivirus software in one computer.

2.So before installing Quick Heal uninstall the Avast and then install it.

3.Or this may be the problem of the virus in your system.

4.So you better to format your system and then freshly install the antivirus software.

5.Or this may be also the problem of the fake software so you check it also first.

    Have a nice day..........

4> In between installation provide necessary information when wants.
5> Then activate your Quick heal and reboot your system.
