    Wrong Message as ‘Antivirus deactivated’ in Windows 8

    I updated from Windows 7 to Windows 8 Operating System in my System. I got a message that, my antivirus has been deactivated. But, I checked that I have the latest version of antivirus and updated too. Please, help me in finding the Solution to the Problem.

    Hello.
    First, I would like to inform you that Windows 8 has built in anti virus program i.e., Windows Defender. It is similar to Microsoft Security Essentials program.
    As you have installed a third party antivirus program, I believe that the Windows Defender as been deactivated and you are receiving notifications for that.
