Getting error message while booting up PC after installing Windows 7 Ultimate

Since installing Windows 7 Ultimate into my PC, I keep getting the error message “BOOTMGR is missing Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart” after starting it. It is not possible to remove the error message even after restarting the PC. Please suggest me how to fix up this issue.

Re: Getting error message while booting up PC after installing Windows 7 Ultimate

You can follow either ‘Startup Repair’ or ‘Rebuild BCD’ method to resolve this issue. In the first method, you need to first insert Windows Vista DVD into your PC and reboot it. Press ‘Enter’ key or space bar while prompted to use a key for booting from the DVD. Click on ‘Next’ option after selecting the language settings and hit ‘Repair your computer’ option. Choose the operating system you need to repair and click on ‘Startup Repair’ option under ‘System Recovery Options’ menu. If you select the second method, then first start up your PC after inserting Windows Vista installation disc into it. Press any key on the keyboard by the time you are prompted to make use of a key to boot from either CD or DVD. After that, choose a language, input method/keyboard, time and currency. Click on ‘Next’ button and press the ‘Repair your computer’ option. After selecting the operating system you want to repair, hit the ‘Next’ button. Click on ‘Command Prompt’ under ‘System Recovery Options’ dialog box and type bcdboot c:\windows /l en-us into the command prompt appears on the screen. Always use the drive set up for default partition on Windows 7 in the place of c:\.Once you finish typing the command, press the ‘Enter’ key on the keyboard.
