Re: What to do if Windows Installer not able to work on Windows Vista?

This message appears on screen when windows installer is not installed correctly on your system. You have to reinstall the windows installer on your system, Follow the procedure:

    > Open the Run command windows by clicking on start button and then click on Run
    > Type cmd and hit ok
    > Now, type following commands (without inverted coma) one by one and press enter after writing each command:
    ‘cd %windir%\system32’ and hit Enter
‘attrib -r -s -h dllcache’ and hit Enter
‘ren msi.dll msi.old‘ and hit Enter
‘ren msiexec.exe msiexec.old’ and hit Enter
‘ren msihnd.dll msihnd.old’ and hit Enter
    > At last type exit and hit Enter

Restart your PC and log on to the PC again. Now, install Windows Installer latest version, click here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...s.aspx?id=8483
After downloading and installing again Windows Installer, restart your system and your issue will be resolved.
