    Hi,
It would have been better if you could have mentioned which version of Windows are you using, but nonetheless I am providing you with a solution. See mostly the error that you have mentioned occurs if the keyboard of your machine is not working properly. Since you are using a notebook and not a personal computer, so you will have more issues with your keyboard that a person with a personal computer. So there is a high chance that any of the key or more that one key are not working properly and resulting in the error that you are having currently. Now you cannot fix your keyboard on your own. For this you will have to hire an expert mechanic who will neatly do the job and remove this error.

Also there is one more possibility that any file of your operating system has got corrupted. In that case the entire operating system needs to be installed once more. So in this case also you will need your vendor. Ask him to uninstall the system and re-configure it correctly this time for you.

    dear friend,

Of course you can solve it.

There are some related errors behind this issue-

Corrupted/Missing boot.ini file- During adding or removing hard drive or OS from your computer, this issue may arise. Make sure that you've properly loaded the OS & the partitions are properly configured.

    Larger partition-
If you've made a partition larger than 7.9 GB & you are running Microsoft windows NT 4.0 in that partition, then the NTOSKRNL.EXE missing issue may arise. So if these is a partition bigger than 7.9 GB, then delete it & recreate a partition less than 7.9 GB.

Missing/corrupted ntoskrnl.exe file- If the ntoskrnl.exe file is missing or corrupted then the issue may arise. Check the attachment to know, how you can solve the issue.

Hardware problem- If you are using a older keyboard having a small wire then this error may arise for the connection problem. Try to replace the older keyboard with a newer one having long connection wire.

Hard drive problem- Check your hard drive for any errors. Use check disc command to check it & take actions to the bad sectors. Check the attachment to know how you can solve this issue.

Hope these will help you a lot.

This is a must watch before doing an Aspire One recovery.

You'll need an XP Home system disc (or an Aspire One recovery disc) and, well, hopefully the video is more explanatory...

Post your progress or any questions under this thread so that I can follow up with you...BTW This link is a good reference site for the Aspire One. I own one and have had to restore it from USB before (not because it needed it, just to test the process). I had to create an XP Home USB boot disk with BartPE which would allow me to do a USB boot and then followed most of the same process that a normal XP install would entail. Here's another tutorial about building the USB.

    dear friend,

There are some reasons behind this problem.

You have to go though individual reasons to find the correct issue & solve that.

Boot.ini file- If boot.ini file is missing or corrupted then you may face this problem. Use a bootable OS DVD to fix the error.

Miscellaneous corruption- To avoid miscellaneous corruption you have to restore your computer from the last active performing restore point.

ntoskrnl.exe file- If ntoskrnl.exe file is missing or corrupted then you may face this problem. Use a bootable OS DVD to rebuild the ntoskrnl.exe file.

Hard drive or windows corruption- If any of your hard drive or windows got corrupted in your computer then you may face this issue. Check for the corrupted sectors in your hard disc by using chkdsk /r command in the recovery console. if you find any windows error then you must go for re-installing windows.

Partition error- If there is a partition more than 7.8 GB where you've installed Microsoft windows NT 4.0 then you may face this error. If you have this kind of partition then delete it & make a new volume having less than 7.8 GB space.

Keyboard- This issue may come if your keyboard has any problem. Check with any other keyboard & if you don't see any problem after changing then you must immediately replace it.

Hope it will help you a lot.

    hello friend,
your message stating that your file is missed or corrupted due to some reasons
like you have shutdown the system directly
or due to some virus attack
it can be rectified by simply downloading that particular file from net and placing that in required position
    by finding it in properties
or open c: drive in windows mainly this files will be corrupted
they we have to see the correct path and place that file so that your problem is solved
or else it may cause you to system failure and system hangs very frequently
and you need to format that and need to install new os also
