What should I do to fix the user32.dll error in Windows Vista?

I don’t know why this is happening but recently I am getting this whenever I boot my Windows Vista Ultimate OS it just throws the error “User32.dll error” once it comes into the main screen. Why I am getting this? How to fix this problem?

Re: What should I do to fix the user32.dll error in Windows Vista?

    What is the User32.dll file?

Windows stores instructions for graphical elements such as dialog boxes and windows in the User32.dll file. The User32.dll file is necessary to the operation of Windows. If this file is damaged, deleted, or removed, the system will no longer work correctly. If a program or a service accesses User32.dll incorrectly, the program or the service will not work correctly.

User32.dll errors are typically corrected by repairing the User32.dll file or by reinstalling the program, the hardware component, or the driver that is causing the error. If these procedures do not correct the User32.dll error, you can restore your computer to a condition before the error appeared by using the Windows System Restore feature.

Note If you cannot start Windows because of a User32.dll error, see the "Start your computer in safe mode and use System Restore" section.

    User32.dll Error Messages

There are several different ways that user32.dll errors can show up on your computer. Here are some of the more common ways that you might see user32.dll errors:
    • "User32.dll Not Found"

    • "This application failed to start because user32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

    • "Cannot find [PATH]\user32.dll"

    • "The file user32.dll is missing."

    • "Cannot start [APPLICATION]. A required component is missing: user32.dll. Please install [APPLICATION] again."
    • How To Fix User32.dll Errors

Important: Do not download user32.dll from a "DLL download" website. There are many reasons why downloading a DLL file is a bad idea. If you need a copy of user32.dll, it's best to obtain it from its original, legitimate source.Note: Start Windows in Safe Mode to complete any of the following steps if you're unable to access Windows normally due to the user32.dll error.
      1. Restore user32.dll from the Recycle Bin. The easiest possible cause of a "missing" user32.dll file is that you've mistakenly deleted it.
If you suspect that you've accidentally deleted user32.dll but you've already emptied the Recycle Bin, you may be able to recover user32.dll with a free file recovery program.
Important: Recovering a deleted copy of user32.dll with a file recovery program is a smart idea only if you're confident you've deleted the file yourself and that it was working properly before you did that.
