Windows XP PC logs off automatically right after the welcome message shows

My pc logs off automatically right after the welcome screen shows. I tried to log in to the pc through safe mode and still I am unable to get into the desktop, it keeps logging off. I tried many things such as going to the advance options menu by pressing F8 key while booting pc, and selecting “safe mode with command prompt “, enable vga mode, debugging mode, last known good configuration mode etc. still same problem. Please tell me how to solve it. Thanks in advance.

This may not be a software problem.
I was also facing the same problem.
In my case, there was problem in Power IC which was not able to supply power for longer time.
Your problem may also be similar.
So, it will be better to contact service center to get it repaired instead of trying various random things.

I don't think it is a problem in Power IC because your PC is logging off and is not powered off directly . So , I suspect there is a malicious program or software that have entered in your PC . It may have entered by USB mass storage or by browsing through some infected website . So , going by this reason try to install a new windows to your computer with a genuine windows DVD . Or what you can do is to try another hard Disk which is new or uninfected By viruses , this will help you in your cause .

It's not always a software problem.
I had been in addition struggling with precisely the same problem.
With my case, clearly there was overuse injury in Power IC which was struggle to supply power for more time.
    Your problem are often similar.
Hence, the idea will be better to contact company core to have it mended instead of attempting several hit-or-miss things.

Re: Windows XP PC logs off automatically right after the welcome message shows

    Hello my dear Friend

I think it may be the issue with may be " Power " or " Virus " issue

For this you must check the Power router and make sure your PC get the Power in proper manner or not

Then You have to Scan your Entire System to "Check for Viruses "

It is done by using to launch the Anti Malware software and finally try to Format the System

Again see the Problem if you did not find any Issues you can enjoy with your PC

Otherwise you should follow the Below steps

<> Choose to select on the "Start " menu and then Try to open the "Run "command bar

<> On which you must type " regedit " and then press " OK "

<> It will launch the Registry editor

<> Go to File and try to connect the Registry and it will ask the IP address

Finally Give all the Information then Try to save the Details

    That is all

I hope this information will be useful to you

    Good luck
